Can you believe what I was talked into???
Yes that's right!! At a mere 10.30 in the morning on December 22nd, I sang, with Paul's kids, Jingle Bells in the middle of Piccadilly Circus.
I sang "JINGLE BELLS" in the middle of Piccadilly Circus!!
Paul conveniently hid behind his camera stating that he would take some pictures of us whilst we were merrily singing Jingle Bells with two gorgeous looking men dressed up in 118 outfits!!
You can see a rendition of our wonderful performance below……

You would be glad to know that it was for charity and we each received a wonderful 118 T-Shirt as a reward for being so brave! Personally I think I should have received the Crown Jewels for that amount of bravery!!!
We were told that we were going to be on their website www.Caroloke.com where people can vote for us and if we win then we get to be in the next 118 TV Advert. For some reason, we weren't put on the website........ I think we must have been too good and they wanted to give everyone else a chance!!! :-)
After this hilarious start to the day we then proceeded to go to Trafalgar Square and then up to Covent Garden where the kids were amazed by the street performers. You take them for granted when you go there so often.
We stopped by at one show where the performer spotted Paul in the audience and called him out to the front to help him out. That will teach him for hiding behind the camera!! Paul had to wrap this guy up in thick heavy chains and lock them together with padlocks (I think Paul would have preferred it if he was a woman!!). The performer set himself 2 minutes to break himself free from them all whilst up a 8 foot ladder. He did it!! J
We then got a lovely lunch and went to watch the Blue Man Group. They are fantastic, they are really funny, they don’t speak for the whole performance and believe it or not, they are very BLUE!!
A fantastic day was had by all, a lovely start to the Christmas celebrations! J
